Ann L. Knewitz 1933-2019
Ann's love for Southern Illinois' beauty and people was evidenced by her commitment to making the lives of those in the community better. Along with Rosemary Crisp, Ann co-founded the Southern Illinois Women's Health Conference in 1986, leading to the establishment of both teen's and men's health conferences. Today, the three conferences have been combined into the Southern Illinois Wellness Expo.
